Math- XTRA Math

I found XTRA Math a couple of years ago, and I have been in love ever since. It is a FREE math program to help students learn their math facts. It is a web based, math fact program to help students with their fluency. Students work through their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. As the teacher, you can start everyone off on addition, or move to any area you want them to focus on.

It only takes a few minutes each day, so it can be done first thing in the morning when students come in, during math rotations, or during an RtI time. Students can also log-in at home, and may complete the fact practice as many times a day as they would like. They have a password to enter, but I add it to my log-in loops, and it is easy for students to enter.

One thing I love is that students have to not only get the problems correct, but also have to answer quickly. Students are scored based on their accuracy and speed, and teachers have access to reports with that information. Once they have passed a fact group, they receive a certificate and move on to the next "level".
